Oligarchy and Paganism of 21st Western Culture.
George Santayana (1912-1952) is credited with this statement that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. He quoted this in the Twelfth chapter ‘Flux and Constancy in Human Nature’ of his book ‘The Life of Reason or the Phases of human progress’. He was a Spanish born American philosopher, essayist, poet and novelist.
There is of course truth in his statement because history does seem to repeat itself, despite its organic nature. History is of course a massive discipline to undertake and naturally like any discipline, there is criteria that needs to be met in order to maintain its legitimacy in terms of how it interprets reality.
In terms of not remembering the past and therefore doomed to repeating it albeit in ways unique to its own historical context….Has the West for example, in the 21st century returned to its Ancient Greco-Roman Oligarchy and Paganism?
Could it be that to reject history is symptomatic of the commitment to modernity, where human reason is the final yardstick to evaluate what is true and just. Rationalism rejected anything ‘Meta’ physical or beyond the physical. Human Reason replaced the Creator God remember in the Enlightenment. Where exactly has the great god of Human Reason taken us?
Downward Spiral of Worldviews.
The Creator designed institutions such as Family, Government and even the Church to harness evil in a fallen broken world. These are creational structures that the Creator put into Creation (Genesis 1-2) The Logos or the Word of God spoke into the Chaos (Genesis 1v2) and brought order by separating and filling the earth in Genesis 1. Family, Government and the Church have all been attacked and seriously compromised and redefined in the West, mostly through the ideological subversion and infiltration of Cultural Marxism (Frankfurt School since the 1930s) and Post Modernism, but there are many other ideological offshoots under the broad umbrella of Secular Humanism.
If the Family, Government, even ‘Church’ and lets say the Education and Health systems are subverted and infiltrated by insidious ideologies, history becomes orchestrated by the rationale of the ‘survival of the fittest or richest’. That is why it is crucial to learn from the Scriptures of how God is in sovereign control over all His Creation including of course nations.
What happens to a nation if the family, government, the church, education and health services have all been compromised by loyalty to Corporate Oligarchs rather than serving the people? What happens if the police become compromised and become militarised? What if all reality is based on Relativism and pure subjective opinion about truth and justice and good and evil? You have to control radical individualism somehow.
What happens when the Creational Structures that the Creator put into creation to harness evil, to maintain some sort of objective axiomatic self evident truths that are independent of human nature like the laws of nature rooted in Intelligent Design, what if these Structures are done away with? Chaos that’s what. And the earth was formless and void, empty, dark, chaotic in Genesis 1v2 and God said ‘Let there Be Light’ and it was so and God saw that it was Good.
Is there formlessness, void, darkness, emptiness and chaos in Western Culture….we must bring the Logos, the Word that holds all things together into every form of darkness, emptiness, formlessness, and chaos. God moved into the chaos and darkness….and so must we then. Get rid of the Word of God….chaos, formlessness, darkness, void, emptiness… is the consequence.
God is not mocked. We reap what we sow period.
Individuals, nations, cultures and empires all reap what they sow, because it is a law that the Creator has built into Creation. No one can escape the law of sowing and reaping. This includes Zionist Israel for its Genocide of the Palestinian people. Fascism eventually self-destructs and that is what is happening to Zionism right now, it is disintegrating. Maybe Oligarchy and Neo Paganism that rules the West is simply reaping what it has sown by destroying the Creational Structures that the Creator God put into Creation….and there is chaos and violence on the earth.
Ideas (Worldviews) have consequences, and bad ideas have victims.

to SECULAR HUMANISM (no need for a Creator God because human Reason using Science and Technology has all the answers….apart from ‘Why’ is there a Universe and ‘What happens when we die’?
So the Enlightenment (Deism) from the early 18th century saw the Story change, it saw the conversion of the West to a new faith. Faith in Progress, Reason, Science and Technology. The Post Enlightenment moved God out the picture all together, even declaring in their breath-taking arrogance that ‘God is Dead’ (Nietzsche) Humans are now the result of pure Random Chance of billions of years of evolution so the new Story goes….The Universe and humanity is a freak accident and is locked into a meaningless cycle of birth and death.
Now today, Secular Humanism via Scientism and Technocracy ruled by Oligarchy is moving in a direction into something extremely dark and evil…..Transhumanism, the ‘end game’ of Evolution. Paganism is all about the One not opposites.
The State has become deified by over-reaching its creational jurisdiction and is now a form of soft Totalitarianism but getting harder by the day. Male and Female become Androgynous (like Baphomet symbolic of Satan) meaning as One because you can by law even change your gender despite the biological fact of male and female at birth. One World Government…Trans means to ‘Go Beyond’, in this case to ‘Go Beyond’ the Creational Structures that the Creator built into Creation… Human Reason has been given over to depravity and insanity (See Romans 1v28-32 and Daniel chapter 4)
The obsession with Climate catastrophe is an obvious expression of Paganism and obsession for Mother Earth (Terminology used in the UN sustainable development goals) Gaia is the Greek goddess that the Climate movement including the Oligarch Davos Elite are worshipping.

‘King’ Charles is one of the founders of the ‘Great Reset’ that the World Economic Forum are pursuing, which is really a Totalitarian Technocracy, a ONE world central Global Surveillance Panopticon. a Pagan Panopticon….the deification of man in the form of Artificial Intelligence.
What happens then if we don’t learn from history?
How has the West repeated history by becoming a modern form of Neo-Paganism. Neo simply means New. In his book ‘How Should We Then Live’ which is about the rise and decline of Western thought and culture. Francis Shaeffer writes about our own modern times in one of the last chapters, he said
“Edward Gibbon (1737-1794) in his ‘Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (1776-1788) said that the following five attributes marked Rome at its end: First, a mounting love of show and luxury (that is, affluence); second, a widening gap between the very rich and the very poor, third, on obsession with sex and sexuality; fourth, freakishness in the arts, masquerading as originality, and enthusiasm pretending to be creativity; fifth, an increased desire to live off the State. (Francis Shaeffer, How Should We Then Live? The Rise and Decline of Western Thought and Culture p227)
Now these five factors resonate deeply with 21st century Western culture.

Oligarchy and Paganism are two fundamental ways that the West has NOT learned from history at all really, it has come full circle and returned to its ancient Greco-Roman Pagan roots. Now, I’m not an historian but obviously there are reasons for why we don’t learn from history. As pointed out above, the law of sowing and reaping, destroying Creational Structural norms built into creation by the Creator God are just a couple of reasons.

Britain’s Oligarchy
Matt Ehret a forensic historian and Geo political analyst argues that Britain for example became an Oligarchy in 1688 because the Venetian Oligarchy chose London as their new HQ after Venice. In his book ‘Clash of the Two Americas vol 4: The Anglo Venetian Roots of the Deep State’ Matt Ehret argues that two opposing ‘current’s’ (Worldviews) have shaped both American and World history since 1776. One represents God, freedom of conscience, liberty, democracy based on the Declaration of Independence .
The other ‘tradition’ is the very worst of Oligarchy that is responsible for Empires, wars, eugenics, depopulation, ethnic cleansing, genocide. Both Webster Tarpley and Matt Ehret argue that Western Oligarchy came from the Venetian Oligarchy who had migrated to Venice after the Fall of Rome, and many were members of the Roman Senate. Rome was the Beast of Revelation 13v1, the sea beast, symbolic of Gentile nations or Empires.
The Venetian Oligarchy came to London and this is where the very worst of Oligarchy was centred. Rome was the Beast Empire, now a residue of this Beast Empire in the form of the Venetian Oligarchy move to London. As noted, Matt Ehret argues in his series that Britain became an Oligarchy in 1688 and that the City of London became a treasonous, traitorous ‘Fifth Column’ that was built up over two centuries.

As an example of the gap between the very rich and the very poor in an Oligarchy as one of the factors that caused the Fall of Rome, intrinsic now to 21st century Western ‘Civilisation’. Matt Ehret’s article Global Britain and King Charles’ Great Reset points out

The British Empire ruled by Oligarchy based in the City of London was also based on Darwinism and his theory of evolution based on the survival of the fittest genes. Empire by its very nature is based on racial supremacy and therefore Eugenics the other side of the coin of Evolution.
Eugenics, depopulation, ethnic cleansing, a lust to rule and have dominion over the whole earth…just like the Western empire today….continuing to ‘poke the Bear’ by refusing to leave Russia’s doorstep (Ukraine) or demand that Israel are severely sanctioned for its Genocide of the Palestinians. Russia must be punished and destroyed for its evil, but Israel must be funded and supported for its evil masquerading as ‘good’.
‘Woe to those who call good evil and evil good and substitute darkness for light and light for darkness’ (Isaiah 5v20) This is precisely what the powers that should not be do, they call ‘good’ evil and call ‘evil’ good. Woe means ‘Undone’ because Judgment is coming.
The West is already under God’s judgment, the wrath of abandonment. In other words, God gives people over to the lust of their own hearts and they have to live with the consequences….which is His Judgment, in particular from v28 we see the characteristics of a depraved mind. A depraved mind from the Greek means a ‘rejected’ mind. In other words a mind that has been judged and given over by God becomes depraved and insane. (Romans 1v18-32)

Paganism
Paganism comes from the Latin word paganus, which can also be translated peasant. Paganism therefore is linked to the soil or the earth, and thus is linked to earthly matters, with high days such as the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes, and the Summer and Winter Solstices. Intricately linked to paganism is philosophical monism, the notion of “all is one”. Paganism can be summed up in five points as follows: 1) All is one 2) All humanity is one 3) All religions are one 4) There is one problem 5) There is one solution
Paganism rejects opposites, so it rejects any distinction between creature and Creator, for there is no personal infinite Creator God in Paganism. All is One, whether spiritual or physical. Eastern Pantheism for example believes that ‘All is spiritual’ and that physical reality is an illusion. Western Secularism is a form of Pantheism as well because it believes that ‘All is Physical’ meaning the Physical world is all there is for there is no spiritual realm, and no personal infinite Creator God.
Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it….and here we are ruled by Oligarchy with the West now ruled by Babylonian Neo Paganism.

Romans 1v25 puts it succinctly in a nutshell: ‘They exchanged the truth of God for the lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator’. This means that there is NOTHING NEUTRAL in all Creation. You either worship the Creator or something from within Creation or the creature.
The truth is that the LORD God created all things including humanity with free will. The lie is ‘you shall become as gods’ knowing good and evil (our created human reason becomes the measure of all things). Human Reason has morphed into a grotesque caricature by exchanging the truth of God for the lie….
What was it that Jack Nicholson said so emotionally in that court scene in A Few Good Men’…..You can’t handle the Truth.
